Anyone read that book when they were younger? The story about the bat who grew up with the three baby birds, learning how to be a bird, but couldn't stop being a bat? My favorite children's book, and this design is like a scene right out of it. I just might have to buy it.

Oh my God! I remember that book now. Now that I think about it, it was definitely a favorite of mine when I was younger...right after Harold and the Purple Crayon. The illustrations from Stellaluna were so pretty.

I love Stellaluna! (Also Harold and the Purple Crayon.)

ahh I love the lesson in Stellaluna.

i remember when the librarian read it to all of us...good times.

I loved that story! I had a little stuffed Stellaluna and everything. I just bought this shirt - how could I not?

That book was after my time. I remember my sister loving that book though. I can't believe I am actually saying that things are after my time...

I thought of it as soon as I saw the design.
Glad someone else shared the same train of thought!

"I think a cute movie idea would be about a parrot who is raised by eagles. It would be cute because the parrot can't seem to act like an eagle. After a while, though, to keep the movie from getting boring, maybe put in some pornography. Later, we see the happy parrot flying along, acting like an eagle. He see two parrots below and starts to attack, but it's his parents. Then, some more pornography."
