Tyger Tyger Burning Kites.
hehe he hates kites! =]
why is it tyger? and not tiger?
Rather like this one.
Tofurky, it's a poem.
tofurky - that's the traditional spelling of tiger, using same spelling as William Blake used for the poem on which this is based
another $5 from me
This is a cartoon. This is not a shirt. The fence makes things too boxy (why not trees instead?). Also, you are missing out on the coolest thing about kites- they fly away! Wouldn't this be much more interesting if some of the kites were trying to escape being burnt? The fact that everything in this is so static is really killing the concept.
i like how tyger is holding the lit match with his paw. down with kites, up with static. :]
hahaha i love this!!!
its so random...great job
i like the uni-brow..it cracks me up.
this is kinda cool... but if he was in a forest why is there a fence behind the cat??!!!
I hope people can think abstractly enough to enjoy this and vote high, $5
Very child's-rhyme like.
I like it :)
kites and tygers totally match
the unibrow is most awesome!
the unibrow adds the "WTF" factor to this shirt.
i love william blake so 5
5 from my pet tyger he hates kites too, but I don't let him near the matches...
Blake is my favorite poet and painter!
lol @ marvin
They are trees! its just the style... and i was kind of going for a dead pan image hence no flying away kites or that kind of thing. Thanks for the comments so far :o)
its kinda funny that most ppl dont know its a poem
anyway, i like it. but i agree w/ mjoo that the kites should try to fly, and also maybe trees instead of a fence?
good job tho
I love the fact its a cartoon! This is my fave :)
OH EM GEE I KNOW THAT POEM.
some dude made a really terrible song of it that my friend was listening to over and over again for like, a week straight to help him memorize the poem for a song.
because all of this, i love this shirt.
You guys it's not a fence, they're trees.
I love your work.
Okay, that's pretty funny. Fix the trees-that-look-like-a-fence and I would rock the heck out of that shirt.
hah-that's one great shirt! I love the expression on his face while he is setting fire to the kites.
its so random, i love it
lolz what fearful symmetry indeed!
I like this. Nice work.
the expression is priceless
idk why but i love it.
I know I've already said it but I have to say it again
I love this shirt so much
Like the Clod loves the pebble
I'd be happy even if nothing was altered
I just looked at your past designs, I really like them! It's a shame they are not scoring higher, but don't give up!
Clearly superior stuff!!!!!! I'll be gutted if i cant get a t-shirt of this!
Love Blake, and I love this shirt!! XD Very clever.
Very funny, I bet Leo Sayer likes it
I love it very much.
And you have very impressive work.
um, sorry but it is ugly and it has a unibrow and it is napoleon dynamite reminiscent, which is old.
Well I love the poem, not so much the style of the shirt...
SO so so awesome! The best!!!
The fact only a select group of people will get this is awesome, I love the angry kitty!!
This needs to get printed ASAP!
What's that sound? Why, it's William Blake rolling over in his grave!
But seriously, this is actually kind of cute, as a cartoon. But I agree with mjoo; I just don't think it quite works on a shirt. Or not a shirt Threadless would sell. Maybe a shirt Hallmark would sell. (I don't mean that as an insult. I just mean, you need to know your market. I don't think the majority of Threadless buyers are your target demographic for this style.)
thats pretty halarious
I think it should be on a dark shirt with dark trees in the background... and the fire would stand out and the tiger would be sort of lit up by the fire.. and some of the burning kites trying to fly away
that would be cool!
but that's just my interpretation! I love that poem, by the way. maybe you could color this picture and it would be better?
perfect! don't change a thing!
I love all the little details, like the angry monobrow and the "he hates kites" note.
agagadgdfgdfgdfg Simply the best. better then all the rest.
