My first submission here. Hope you like it!
I like it, but would prefer a color other than black-- even though that's not very surrealist of me... or is it?
Nice concept, and excellent execution. Pretty much perfect, I'd say. :)
I like it a lot. Subtle but effective.
Oh, wow. This is a keeper. Great job.
I really like it, but I agree with chriskoi8; it doesn't seem very surrealist, more like animals who go to the movies. Boy I'd hate to be sitting behind the deer. 4.
if those deer are a frida kahlo reference, then nice work.
Thanks for the kind words/comments guys. Jess678 - it's actually a reference to the film, 'Donnie Darko' but yes, you're right, Frida Kahlo could also work...
thats awesome i want one right now.$5
i think the woman's head reminds me too much of the gracie films logo.
you know, after the simpsons, the one where the lady tells everyone to "shh."?
yeah, too close for comfort.
really good, but omgvader is right - too much like Gracie.
Hey, down in front. Goddamn deer. 5 dolla/ buy buy buy.
"Too much like the Gracie Films logo"?
Isn't that completely deliberate? If this isn't supposed to be a parody, then it's a ripoff.
I want this! but..colour options?
Yeah I'm confused. I immediately thought about that little clip after the simpsons when I saw it...what's going on with that?
giggles awesome. Are those sheep or wolves or something else on the left?
Class! Hurry on and print it - I'll take 4. :-)
I'd buy it in a dark blue...
This is awesome. Colour options and its sold.
Yes, it is a parody on the Gracie Films closing titles! The deer/animals in the cinema are intended as a reference to 'Donnie Darko' and hopefully working on the same level to anyone unfamiliar with the Gracie Films title. The Frida Kahlo interpretation was interesting :-)
Colour options - I think black works best, but could work on navy blue, grey, forest green, denim - any of the darker colours really.
Alpha_Ryan - they are Indian Wolves (commonly regarded a a nuisance animal) :-)
Brilliant design! Love the deer! Would be great in pink! :-)
i think that you should show it with other colors.. makes it a little more interesting.
Great work, made me chuckle. I'd definitely buy it if it gets printed! $5
I didn't think Donnie Darko, either.
But I like it.
i like it! I wouldn't buy it unless you made it more,, special as in... worth my moneys. xDD
someone submitted a similar concept last week... with ostriches...
anyhow, i think it would be fine with just 1 deer, and then the rest be people.
so sick of deer.
black or navy- it's in a theater so it has to be very dark. love this design by the way!
exactly emily27 - thank you :-)
awsome design... will stand out in black... great concept
I know so many people who would want this shirt!! LOVE it (keep it on black too!)
I'd buy it! However, I don't think its anything special...so $3
unbelievably cool design-
i love it when humans and animals find a common interest-
Id buy that for a dollar!
it reminds me of gary larson. I'd sport this baby
Love Deer, Love Donnie Darko, love the parody - fits the whole illusion of the surrealist theme. Black looks good. Would def buy it!
Oh! I like it! $5
I love this. Has to be on black because of the topic - it wouldn't work in any other colour as far as I'm concerned.
Not keen on the black, midnight blue maybe.
very cute. i like black, but other colors would be great as well.
hooly shit. this is great. on of the first ones i like in a long time
I like, and I agree black is probably the best color...
thanks for all the comments guys - much appreciated! :-)
hummm i like deers
