Searcher: gosh if it is I definitely didn't know about it, and I hope not. The idea for the design came while I was being hopeless at bird-watching, and the others told me that I just needed to train my eyes to differentiate the birds from the leaves.

I quite like a smaller central placement myself but yeah felt the birds would get lost if it was smaller, as M450 says. Higher up was my first instinct too, but I wasn't loving having that blind ending trunk in the middle of the tee..
