Universe of Love

In the last couple of years, the negativity and hatred in the US has consumed and poisoned the very fabric of life. I felt down and I wanted to escape from the bullying I was witnessing on the national scene as well as in the community I was living in in. I painted this piece to escape to a world where I felt love. The warm colors, the young girl of color and the literal hearts were all deliberate choices I made to help invite others into this universe of love.
