The Crane And The Cobra
This design is inspired by an ancient Japanese story about overcoming adversity. The crane is badly injured and he must utilise everything he has learned about balance and timing in order to pull off a fight-winning move against all the odds.
It also is inspired by the finale of The Karate Kid. I think the crane might even be wearing a bandanna.
paint the fence!
it's always great to see people trying something different from their usual style. this attempt turned out great!

This is the funniest shirt you've ever done! The references all over the place amuse me to no end!
Or, you know, a very classy and colorful take on a time-honored story of overcoming the odds. That also is pretty dang cool too, hehe. Nice work man!

I can not submit work, who can teach me?
(If you can, please sent a sample of my work e-mail to serve as a reference)
i think it's cool, and i like where it's going, but i do think it can be simplified even further. there is so much beauty in simplicity, or rather, simplicity brings out the beauty. check out some Chinese paintings for inspiration? but i think it's nice.
Japanese paintings, I meant. Well, both. Just a suggestion~
Thanks guys - and thanks HangBok - I agree with what you say about beauty in simplicity. I did test out varying levels of simplicity in the strokes and tried to strike a balance between that and being able to clearly convey the concept.
I have heard the fable before and the design is great. $5 from me (which I very rarely give).
love the chinese-ish style.... reminds me of kung fu panda..hehe 5$$
