The Smoggy Valley Nicoteens

For this design, I thought it would be funny to use a naive andcheerful 1950’s cartoon style.

I was inspired by the current trend in sponsors for athletic events. These companies often sell patently unhealthy products, yet encourage an athletic lifestyle by funding many competitive sport teams and international competitions.

I thought I would exaggerate the idea just a little bit more by creating a local high school baseball team sponsored by a cigarette company.
