A typographic experiment I did using different hand drawn fonts.

GreenRabbit

The "T" in "sometimes" took me a while to get since I haven't read the title before viewing. I thought it was a "V." Anyway, I still like this.

I would really like this if the colors were a bit more vibrant

I agree with olie. Liking your typographic designs a lot though. keep them coming. You'll likely have one printed in the future.

Hey carson, I dig your stuff and I think the colours on this are perfect.

However, I think you would benefit from keeping the typography more consistent in style, rather than changing the type for every word.

Peace.

a slight increase in contrast would make this a 5 for me.

MyDerniereDanse

More vibrant colors/contrast would be lovely.

I actually had really vibrant colours for this to begin with, but I figured given the mood of the message, a more faded worn-out look would work better. check out the other version here:

mlnewco

Yeah I like the muted version better. I agree it does a good job of reflecting the mood.

SoldierofGondor

I really like the sad face on the 'o'.

I'm torn between the vibrant and dark colors though.

All your design are awesome!
Nice Text You Have There.

jerryisgreen

colors are perfect -- DON'T change!

Tylwythtegs

I love your style but I'm pretty bored by the 'just typography' ones. In fact I'd rather you ditch all the typography altogether and just draw some things without words. That would be really cool.

lemonalle

love it, love the colors

You are def. on the right track.
I think you should study/work with real fonts more often to get more knowhow about how type works -- then experiment like you always do with the handdrawn stuff. Keep them coming.
