My first Threadless Loves Drawing submission. Wanted to do something a little different.
Started as a pencil sketch in my little notebook, while I was working my other job at the mall, and then I redrew it all and inked it on the next page (pictured above) with micron tech pens and a faber brush (still while at my other job). After that, I brought it home and took a photo of it because my scanner isn't hooked up. Next, it was onto tracing it in adobe illustrator to make it a crisp and clean vector image for the shirt.
After a lot of great feedback I changed the way it read, removed the half circle portion, and added a transition back to the diamond at the end.
Thanks to everyone that helped me improve this, and hope you all enjoy it.
nice. the circle ones remind me of star wars army insignia.
Nice work. $5
It looks better than awesome now! I think I'm liking the foil on maroon, but black on white is pretty classic too. Silver on black... or purple... could be kinda cool too. Oh, the possibilities!
I wanna cut this shirt into pieces and flip through them really fast to see the full transformation take place! Great re-invention of a classic idea, and it combines the fun of building blocks, t1000 termintors and transformers all rolled into one fun tee package. I think i'd like it in gold please!
very very awesome. $5.
I like that it ends back to the diamond :) awesome work!
Very very cool. $5
I don't like the maroon one, but the other 2 are pretty cool.

This just works. $5
the original was good, but the update is GREAT!
I'd never expect something like this from you!
I really like this! It took me awhile to follow though, but once I got it, I GOT it. But I think silver foil on black/purple would also be a cool color choice. But the white/black colors are the strongest out of the 3 you selected. Good job!
this is great!
WOW! dollar bills
I agree it is the best design you've produced. Should be a print, but only on green. :P Great job!
Love the simplicity. It has a great flow to it. I believe this will print.
Normally I'm all for foil, but I think with this one I actually prefer the black & white versions. Nicely done!
Nice one dude! Different to your normal, but equally as awesome!

Holy cow this is pretty darn neato! I love how you can actually see how each one transforms and it actually works! So very cool.
I like the simple black and white.
so well done, solid work.
thanks so much everyone, never thought this design that started as a doodle on lined paper would get such a response
reminds me of iconoclast and a couple of others. at little plain.
i would like it if you included the little pic of you notebook, that would remind me of the doodles i do in class.
This is one of my faves in the drawing loves so far $5
Really cool, original idea, looks great on the tee! 5$
WITH FOIL PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!
awesome. I think foil on maroon or purple would look great.
The design is cool on all three tees, but I'm really liking it on maroon with gold foil :]
