About "Processing emotions, please wait." by Introverts
Just a rabbit in a cup of tea. Nothing dramatic, nothing urgent—just
sitting, steeping, waiting for things to make sense.
Only introverts and HSPs get this. Emotions don’t always come with
instant clarity. Some people react in real-time. Others? They need a
buffering screen, a cup of tea, and at least 12 mental drafts before
they know what they actually feel.
This is deep processing in action. No, I don’t have an answer yet.
No, I don’t know how I feel about it. Give it a minute. Or a day. Or a
week. Some thoughts need to steep before they settle. Rushing
won’t help. And honestly? The more pressure there is to “just say
what you feel,” the longer it’s going to take.
It’s not avoidance, it’s emotional quality control. Introvert people get
it. The rest just wonder why I’m still floating here.
