fairy could always be changed to something like ferry or jerry

redsugar

Berry's within British English isn't it? (Admittedly it's another fruit.) Or Merry? This design rocks.

just ignore the rhyming, that can be sorted out later.

Espoz

OH I JUST GOT IT.
Took me a while.
That being said, I like it.

prettyburning

Yeah I don't think "fairy" rhymes with "cherry" either..and "grapple" doesnt count because it has "apple" in it.

However, I'd still buy it.

Food with faces gets 5$!!!

Here's the words I found
that I like for each fruit

carry -- cherry
care -- pear
chapel -- apple
cape -- grape
cabana -- banana

Fairy is better than Larry, but still doesn't quite work without an American accent. I love this design though. 4.

kinkado

what about "scary" for cherry ?
or does that also not work for the brits?

& i like the suggestion of 'cabana' for banana, if only to keep brand names off the shirt.

it's a $5 regardless ^_^

JOHN2

would be a $6 if the grape was screaming 'rape!'

I hate food with faces shirts, but I would actually buy this. Very clever. And a great design.

bonaparte

Yeah - this one's gonna win.

And in response to some of the above, blancmange does NOT rhyme with orange. Unless it's pronounced 'blorange.'

joshamman

tropicana rhymes with banana?

this is AWESOME.
i don't mind whether or not anything really rhymes with orange (let's just coin a new word that does), but it's the representation of that funny fact that makes the design and message so awesome :P

thisheregiraffe

it took me a while to get it, but i LAUGHED when i did.

littlem

PERFECT $5

deadspeaker

$5, because it made me feel really sorry for the poor orange. XD

abby824

It's really cute idea, but the fruit looks REALLY scary. Make them not so ... horrendous.

R'son-W

Seriously, the people who're saying that they have rhymes for "orange": Where are you from? The most confusing one is "lozenge". WTF?

PuterBoy

I need this shirt sooo bad....

13strong

Man that "fairy" thing pisses me off.

Stupid ass Americans.

haha

roodlez

i have this shirt... but my banana says montana and my apple says chapel...

I would love to hear how the Brits are pronouncing "fairy" and "cherry". I can't even imagine. Can someone phonetically spell out the difference?
