In the Big Inning

After rewatching "The Unnatural" (The X-Files, Season 6, Episode 19,) I thought that it would be fun to create a logo for "The Roswell Grays," the fictional baseball team featured in the episode. Josh Exley is the star of the team (with a secret that I will not reveal in case anyone hasn't watched the episode yet!) "The Unnatural" is the first episode written entirely by David Duchovny and it was also the first one that he directed.

The logo itself is inspired by the team's uniforms and their team bus... as well as other vintage 1940's baseball logos and advertising.
