toomanytentacles...holy fuck, I honestly didn't see that. I wanted to do an homage to Saul Bass the master of minimalist movie posters, and his work with Hitchock is well known. So I wanted to tie them together in my own way and I did this by Googling some of Hitchcock's famous quotes for ideas and the quotes/words that stood out for me had cut out, slice of cake, piece of cake, sweet and not fattening and kitchen table. in them. Next is the visual to go with a loose idea about food/cooking and one of the most famous images Hitchcock had was the one which shows his hefty silhouette, so the food angle kinda made sense because I thought as a big fella he loved to eat, but didn't want to go that route as it might be offensive so the cook/chef angle was in my opinion a better choice because it still worked well with those words and phrases. I added the knife as a visual from Psycho and crows in the pot from The Birds to put it all together. Too bad I didn't see r.o.b.o.t.i.c.octopus' design first or I wouldn't have used the Hitchock silhouette, but still would have gone through with this concept in another way. Thanks for pointing out the similarity and allowing me to explain myself.

I'm so used to reading it as Hitchcock, I didn't see it as cook at first, then when I did, I was wonderously surprised.
