Henrik Ibsen's quotation is a favourite of mine, and one that I have been inspired by in the past. Aside from the wealth of imagery conjured by the words, its meaning can be read in a variety of ways. The quote's central statement is liberty: a declaration of freedom to be who you are, to find your own path and ultimately to live life to the full. In a wider political sense, it is also speaks of emancipation from oppression, prejudice and discrimination
Aside from that, any design that allows me to draw birds and trees is always a treat. This was a lot of fun to create - I hope you like it!
