An excerpt from the text on the Cornelius Loves Threadless contest page:

The album's circular design reminds us that it's all a dream, a ruse, a sensuous, artificial paradise modeled on the natural, curated by the man who knows the peaks and valleys of our contemporary emotional landscape as much as any composer alive: Cornelius, aka Keigo Oyamada, the visionary postpunk sound designer of the bright new age.

That was my inspiration.

thanks lemonalle, coming from an epic writer such as yourself, it means a lot.

Kojima, this is actually the one time I didnt try to change my style and ive got that comment a few times. I have no control over my art.

Thanks everyone else so far.

Excellent. I'm glad you went with the loose colors. It's got a real watercolor look to it. $5.

He's crying fishies! Very beautiful. $4

Wonderful Illustration!

LOVE IT! Perdy and none of that primary colors bullshit every1 subs. $5

It took me a while to see the face on the tree, and then the other faces suddenly appeared. I like that it's not so obvious and overpowering. I also love the linework on the tree's trunk.

lovely work as always, gorgeous colours...$5

I love the flowing line work and all the hidden facial expressions, very nice.

In one respect I agree. I could have changed the colors, and removed the background blue, but it wouldnt have saved money. I would need to color the clouds instead. I would also lose the loose coloring effect on the water.

Nice line work! Really great imagery. For some reason, this contest made me think of bright colors. These colors probably work too, but could work equally well with brighter, more saturated hues.

Reminds me of a Japanese block print.

nice, like the color chooses and style!

I like teh subtleties in this one teh expresssions and such teh colorig could have ben cleaner but thats not a huge problem

This is lovely, but my only comment would be that the background in the picture is not the same as the t-shirt color. I think the picture is fabulous, but the coloring on the t-shirt is quite off. The beige and green don't work well together.

The subtlety of the details and coloring give this a great soft feeling that is perfect for the subject. Nice work!

I love subtle designs, so I'm $5'ing this one

Ooooh, so beautiful! I love that the energy of the spirits are softly reflected in expression. So lovely! I would love to see this in kid sizes as well! $5 +!
