This is for the "Threadwars" blogger run competition, where a bunch of artists got together and decided to beat each other to a bloody pulp. The theme for round 1 is "Hybrids". I decided for my entry to remake the classic Chimera of legend in modern pop imagery using a hybrid cartoon/realism style instead of just redrawing the real characters or making them entirely realistic and losing any iconography.
