In 1988 I was 13 and just big enough to pass as older. I could get into any Arcade I wanted, and that made me cool. Only the cool kids went to arcades. Whilst my more studious and less interesting school friends sat at home reciting Shakespeare to pushy parents, I was talking up girls with names like Donna and Vicky. Whilst I chewed gum and blasted faceless aliens on the machines the girls would talk about who was cool at school, who they would snog, and more. They were good times. I belonged. And now, if you look at the high street 'with the right kind of eyes' you'll see the mark we left on society.
Oh, and I love your avatar image.....
Awesome design here man
I remember best the lighting and aura that was the arcade - everything was lit with Monster transformer tubes of glory -

Nice type and composition!
Thanks. Also thanks to those who helped in the crits for pushing this forward - chiefly Tonteau, Ellogoods & Notnorm. I genuinely feel those amends I made, based on your suggestions, have made this a better design.
God save the arcade!
I really like this!
Awesome TYPO!!!! LOVE it!!!!$5
Absolutely love the typo. :) It's pretty goshdarn amazing.
Sigh, i miss arcades and their combo of pinball machines, fighting games, gun blaster games and basketball hoop shot carnival creations.
Love the 3-d retro Max Hedrom style you have going on here.
This also makes me think of the Star Wars original trench run vector graphics game! Anything that brings back those blissful memories has to score at least a solid 4 from me.

This is great Garo! $5
I bloody love it $5
What happened to Donna Banfield?
sweet..it's funny 'cause it's true.
What happened to Donna Banfield?
The $64,000 question. I'd like to think that she never aged past 17, and that she still dances to Neneh Cherry in a red Adidas tracksuit.

hahahaha...the relentless indifference to my ideas and artwork is killing me. How much can I take? I think I'm definitely gonna take a big breather from here.
