For my first 101010 sub I wanted to do something in the style that first attracted me to threadless- bold, crisp, modern day spins on classic iconography- albeit with more colors and detail than was possible in the early days here.
The cornucopia, or horn of plenty (among other names) has been around since ancient Greece, and symbolizes abundance of food. In today's modern world where obesity is on the rise everywhere, I imagine its a symbol we should all be familiar with. Also, I love junk food.
Thanks to everyone who thought of a title for this piece, and thanks to andyg for suggesting the one I ended up using. Hope people enjoy.
A modern-day American cornucopia. The contrast with the fruits and vegetables and grains we usually see spilling out offers a really good reminder to eat better. I think this would be an interesting painting, too.

great work. i reckon your could back off the black just a hint though. strong black always looks harsh.
Yeah, it probably could have been a bit softer in the presentation, though in print I think this really dark brown I used would look softer, as the tee/hoodie colors are a bit darker than in my presentation- I believe.
Not really into the dark brown shirt you used to bring the concept to its fullest life, but really fun/thoughtful idea and apt comparison to the way we live life then and now.
