wolf in sheep’s clothing
This design began by hand making the sheep suit using a cardboard sheet, PVA and a packet of cotton wool. Next I set up an elaborate construction from which to scan the design at high resolution in order to maintain the designs 3D features. From this point i spent many many hours drawing the fine details over and around the handmade suit adding more photographed and scanned images along the way whilst constantly experimenting with a vast array of colour treatments.
During the making of this design i was continually pushed out of my comfort zone and on many occasions thought that it was going to turn out terribly but in the end i was very relieved and excited to end up with what i think is a unique and fresh finish.
As far as trends go I began this design with the desire of producing something hand made using both found and personally constructed materials. I think if more designs embraced handmade elements there would be a much more interesting and diverse range of visual stimulation on threadless. There are literally limitless everyday items that can be instantly transformed into brilliant and beautiful pieces of art given the inspired inclination.
I wanted to use the scanner as an artistic tool. I wanted to utilise the limitless artistic possibilities of a simulated process design. I wanted to embrace mixed media, convey the concept and blend all of the experimental elements with traditional illustration... but most of all, i wanted to drink beer in the name of design:)
This is great! Concept and execution are flawless $5
ah the best!

CHECK IT OUT HERE!
Really cool style and expression! :)
Love the colors and the expression!!!!...
The mixed media barely looks mixed, such a nice job integrating the drawn and real-world pieces together! love all the fun details, the sheep's bear and the ciggie, that is one cynical and beautiful looking wolf!
cheers guys, sooooooooooo stoked you like it:)
this its so amazing!!
THIS IS FUCKIN' AWESOME!!!!
Damn dude, this is killer. For real. Sick!
the concept is cool but the production is weird. There is a mix of styles that don´t combine. You should use only one style, like your other pictures. If you do it with this style, it will win :) http://www.threadless.com/product/1934/Flock_of_Gulls
