I like this.
maybe a smaller fish on the left.
i guess i will buy ANOTHER hogboy shirt
amazing texture work! 4
YAY! You rock.
i like the imagery and execution, but i feel like this is a tired idea. i can think of at least 2 or 3 other designs using the exact same idea but with different animals
it has a cool composition, and i like the speckled look on the fish bodies so they aren't so flat.
love the text...wish it was on the shirt
[but i am probably alone in that wish...haha]
v surprise! $5
Hah cool I was wondering if anyone else would get the Faith No More reference
Nice work man, and if the whole thing was intentionally supposed to look like a giant clam, even more points $5
Hogboy, this is awesome stuff, I love the style of this illustration, absolutely love it, the idea too.
This is awesome!
not my favorite design of yours... just meh'
nice to see you designing again though... did that huge amount of cash you earned awhile back run dry?
weird how we both subbed blue designs about people dying underwater at nearly the same time...I think I like yours better...yes, I probably do.
great colors and excellent use of the negative space.
I agree with luke.... the text would be cool
cool, I dig the textural effect and how you treated the border
another great work from u, welldone!!! $5
When do you have time to work dude??
Great stuff, juts the usual Hogboy sub...
Nice take on a somewhat abused concept on this site...i love the tentacle coming out of the upper right negative space!
Great illustration. 5$
Another hogboy classic!
this is cool
I officially lol'd.
I thought this was one of the best this week:
Nice style and texture. 5
the texture work on this is great. cheers!
I personally hate really large contiguous areas of solid plastisol. Aside from what I feel is the stylistic suitability in this instance, 'fading' serves the practical purpose of breaking those areas of ink up.
Distressing has been used fairly commonly as a technique since screenprinting began & with the limited arsenal of tools available to create texture within the process I don't really see it as a trend.
I hope that didnt sound too defensive.
glad someone but me got the FNM reference. Lovely shirt.
It's funny because I can't imagine Mike Patton wearing this design. Perhaps if one of the toothy fish were gnawing off the scuba's foot or something.
Good work, friend. Not my style (as you know) but this totally works regardless. I am enjoying that one lone tentacle twisted at the top.
Thanks Steph.... you're going to hmmmmm probably hate my new one
Very very cool.
love the shape and colors, but the texture is what works the most with me.
wow 3 print in 2 weeks! congrats!
wow! *clap clap clap!!
