The challenge was

Create a t-shirt design inspired by Marvel's Captain America.

When Steve Rogers receives an experimental dose of Super Soldier Serum, he’s transformed from scrawny wannabe warrior to super soldier Captain America. With his puny muscles now supersized, Cap is ready to battle dobadders at every turn. Throughout World War II the patriotic crusader uses his physical perfection to fight for liberty and the American way.

Create an original t-shirt design that celebrates Marvel’s Captain America. Get out your red, white, and blue pencils and pay tribute to the ultimate comic book patriot.

Keep in mind:

  • Use your original artwork.

  • You may use the following characters in your design: Captain America, Red Skull, Bucky, Sharon Carter, Crossbones, Sin, Arnim Zola, Batroc The Leaper. Other characters are not allowed.
  • Characters outside of the Marvel universe are not allowed.
  • You may not use actor likenesses or any logos in your design.
  • No political or adult content (sex, smoking, drinking, etc.) is allowed.
  • The characters cannot be represented as children or animals.

  • No real world Iconography or political symbols/figures allowed.
  • Designs should be inspired by the comics, not the movies. Designs with actor likenesses or details, themes, or elements specific to the movies will not be approved.
  • Make sure to read the legal stuff. Rules for this challenge are different from other Threadless challenges.
