Your challenge
Take a leap and create a new type of design
Learning Mandarin! Biking across the country! Coaching little league! Quitting your job to freelance full time! Any change requires taking a leap.
At Threadless, we’re taking a big leap. With the redesign, we’re presenting a whole new user interface to you, our community. We’re so excited to share it with you, and we so hope you enjoy all the updated and new features.
We want you to take a leap with us through your art! Design in a style you never have before. Collaborate with another person and see what it’s all about. Submit a design for the very first time.
We’ll be selecting three designs from this challenge, each based on a different kind of artistic leap:
1. regular submitter using a completely different artistic style
2. first time submitter
3. first collaboration
Be sure to note which type of leap you’re taking in your submission!
Here's how it works

Get your idea ready to submit
Read our submission guidelines to learn about printing techniques, creating high resolution artwork, preparing presentation files, and following the rules! You'll also find color specifications and downloadable assets like templates and blank photos for mockups.

Submit to the challenge
Once you've prepared your design files, it's time to submit it for scoring! Follow the instructions and fill out the form (the whole thing).

The community scores your design
For 7 days, the Threadless community scores your design 1 to 5 and leaves comments. These scores and comments help us pick which designs to print. You're encouraged to promote your design to friends, family, and the rest of the Internet!
