Sick and tired of your fragile macaroni necklaces breaking throughout an average day? How many macaroni necklaces do you go through a week - forty? Eighty? Save yourself the hassle and vote $5 on this exquisite pre-school inspired design. Disembodied shirts not included.

This is funny and I really enjoy it. If this gets printed I would hope the macaroni would retain its realistic look.

I always colored the macaroni. Recomendation: Put the macaroni on a string. Cute design.

Has someone already done the froot loop necklace? MMM, my favorite.

joannchilada on Nov 27 '06
I thought about doing the string thing but it wouldn't work with the way the macaroni was oriented. Thanks for all the awesome comments!

cute, but it definitely needs something more to it in order for me to actually pay more than 5 dollars for it.

i love it, but maybe with more necklaces? Like that multicolored penne on a longer strand, and then som rigatoni on an even longer strand.

This shirt is a life-saver! I'm tired of having to buy animal crackers to feed those pre-schoolers in my basement who make replacement macaroni necklaces all day. Now I can just buy this shir! (hopefully)

this is really nice, but i suggest doing a lot more necklaces--sort of like the shirts with the diamond necklaces that hang down at different lengths, but with macaroni, lentils, lollipopos, candy, etc.

joannchilada on Nov 29 '06
^ That's a good idea, too. I heart comments.

I feel you're onto something... Don't stop at macaroni! Branch out to wheels, rotini, penne! String it all on spaghetti! Deck it with rigatoni! Make a giant ravioli medallion! I love this shirt!

I never made a macaroni necklace but I did make a paperclip one cover in wallpaper ( I am not kidding like small strips of wall paper around the individual paper clips) but it gave my mum a mean rash. I love the concept but I would not wear it.

I like it - conditionally. It needs the macaroni to go on the back as well as the front. Needs.

FROOT LOOPS PLZ.

I vote multiple strands, maybe with ziti and that funky wheel pasta. And yeah, it does need string. Extending it to the back is also a cool idea. No bling.
