 black, medium gray, light gray. Works best on white but also works well on primary colors and pale blues and grays. another faux-rorshach. I know i already submitted one but this one has a spiny and line like feel to it i kind of like.

absolutely, i also think that the black works well on primaries (red, blue, yellow, cyan, magenta), so that is another alternative ^_^

the gb logo? yeah, i did, interestingly, enough. I actually won a poster design contest for them, i've sampled their images in several pieces of art.

note: additionally, the version of the logo i use is both proportionately and physically altered, and is not and never a standalone image.

Reminds me of two things: 1. Those psyche evals as a kid where they show you blotches of paint and ask you what you see.

sure. sweetsamich. yeah this of pieces i did months ago that this is based on was originally inspired by gnarls barkley's music video aswell as rorschach tests. this one was originally designed as a cover for a short story i wrote called BAM!

hey man great concept and it was pulled off pretty well, i just think it could be a bit better.
i was looking at the hi-res version and i noticed the layers are visible because it looks like you'd make something then cut it out with magic wand. unfortunately unless you get in afterwards it leaves a kinda white outline around what you cut out. so i'd go through and erase those. also the circles with simple gradients kinda get to me. maybe actually scan an ink blot with the similar colors or the look you want then scale/skew/rotate/etc to fit in the spots you have the circles now. just so it looks more natural. |

i actually agree. however the high res is not exactly the same as the graphic for the tee. but still great points and thanks for the sugestion!
