sword is sheathed on his back, in hindsight, I guess the sword would be better unsheathed as it is sorta iconic.

Love the idea but I'm not sure of the drawing of he-man and, particularly, um, I can't remember the cats name, but his head is kinda wierd.

Haha, remember that cartoon!? This is funny because this is that cartoon but he's smoking and it's poorly drawn. What makes it even funnier is that it's from our childhood so it must be good I guess.

you said it, kilyth. copyright, copyright, copyright.
zero for this design from me. c'mon, threadless, let's get original. |
|
I wish kids knew more about parody and copyright law before they began using the internet.
Snide comment aside, thank you for your opinions on my work, it's the only way for me to progress. |

Honestly, I won't argue with the comments about originality, if that's your beef, I'm fine with it... but parody trumps copyright, everytime. At least look it up if your going to argue the point.

I'm sorry, were you trying to prove my point?
Besides, an iconic character like HeMan is not something the threadless staff would be unaware of, they have declined subs for having copyrighted material in them before, they are fully aware of the boundaries. I accept your critisism that using heman makes my work entirely unoriginal, I don't agree but I'm not arguing with your opinion. I don't even know why I'm arguing semantics with you, you posted a link that argued in my favor with the example I have as a submission. It's foolish to continue arguing. Here's a full site of copyrighted characters being parodied, put into situations they aren't normally placed in.... and he's selling them without being sued. By your logic, this guy should be sued into the ground. |

It doesn't seem like much of a parody... it's He man... on front of the Castle of Greyskull... hahah... oh wait, what's the joke again?
