I almost think you don't need the tree... it's a bit of a distraction the way it just... stops. The clouds make the ladder feel complete, it's just the tree that doesn' fit.

rad, maybe put some leaves on the tree,so doesnt just stop- but i do think you need it becauseit goes with the whole little boy climbing tree thing, otherwise it could just be that he died and climbed the ladder. awesome tho

yeah, you don't need to climb both a beanstalk and a ladder to get up to heaven (it's been documented). One or the other would be fine. But I'd like to see heaven represented by a little more than two birds waiting around to poop on some people's heads far below. I'm not talking about angels and a strange light glaring the boy in the face representing the G to the O to the D, but SOMETHING else is missing from making this a wonderfully powerful and cohesive image. Nice work tho.
