Fallen Stars Theme

well, i took a bit of a detour form the literal sence of the theme. I guess my design is more about the idea of a fallen star or character. Or in a broader sense, this design illustrates the title-phrase that has become an industry standard to express that which has become absurd.

hope you like it, all feedback is welcome, but please be constructive.

Wikipedia: Jumping the shark is a metaphor that was originally used to denote the tipping point at which a TV series is deemed to have passed its peak, or has introduced plot twists that are illogical in terms of everything that has preceded them.

jumping the shark is a reference to when Fonzie on Happy Days for some reason ditched the grease and traded it for waterproof turtle wax to jump a shark pit, impress whatever ladies weren't already wowed by his jukebox-banging prowess. I've seen whales animated in the style of singing to the sound recordings, but never a shark. Bonus point for the thumbs up in the background, but is there a way to make it look more like a more natural element of the background which eventually hits you upside the head as a more concrete image?

This is great! I love the Happy Days name on the boat, and the fact that the shark is saying Fonzie's trademark catchphrase.

So many shows have jumped the shark, finally the shark gets its revenge. LOL At first I though the shark is saying "AAAA!" but it's the Fonz, isn't it? Perhaps put a Y on the end "AAAAY" or even "HEEEY!" so its obviously the Fonz. Unless you're trying to be sublte and/or going for "omg I've been eaten!! Aaaah!!!". ;) $5

Eh, this shirt just jumped the shark. You know what that means right?

I had a joke with a friend where we tricked this really dumb girl into thinking that in order to get her drivers license she had to jump a shark tank. She had to drive around the circle, come to a complete stop, reverse, watch for pedestrians, jump the shark tank and when you make the last left before parallel parking leave enough space for oncoming traffic.
