I liked the first design (aside from the nipple, as I just wouldn't have been able to wear it in public or give it as a gift to someone); so, what did you do after all the comments... you put yourself on a pedestal as the censored martyr with this. Childish to say the least. This gets a zero from me.

This is just funny for the sake of what you did, and i admire putting a little extra nipple grease into a design just for shits and giggles on here and not to be printed- although both designs should be printed.

i'm not getting the deal with oread. i looked at the other design, and she comes across as moderately intelligent but i'm not locating any personal bashing here and there sure as hell isn't anything childish about this design as a 'retort' -- its actually clever.

Slickhop, I was called retarded in one post... no big deal, it is the internet. The reason I commented on the sub being childish was this: I view Threadless as a business where people propose marketing plans; the users (us) & the company (Threadless) decide which of the proposals is best for the business. In my view in this had been someone who had proposed an idea to me in my workplace & they had received the suggestions noted (no nipple, love the rest) from the previous sub & then my committee had allowed them a chance to resubmit their proposal... All I'm saying is that if they showed up with this type of design (i.e. I've been censored) as a result of the suggestions, I would assume that they weren't professional enough to take constructive criticism & they wouldn't be getting another chance with my firm.

The other bashing I was referring to (on the other sub, I believe) is the pro-nipple people telling the con-nipple to essentially "get over it... it's just a nipple". It's up to the individual to decide what (& the reasons why) they will wear on the front of a T-shirt. The con-nipple people don't seem to be telling the others to "not wear porn" or some other ridiculous thing. It's about personal choice, leave everyone be & discuss the design's merits.

But Oread, what Dracolmagen is doing is playing with art, he is communicating with it, and allowing that our comments have an effect on his design. Maybe you don't like it because of your society's taboos, but from another culture this is hilarious, belive me ! And he is not our subordinate so he really doesn't need to do what we want him to do, he is free to tell as something new, and he really does so in a very cute way. That's of course, my own opinion, I would just like taht who don't like this would at least recognize its originality.

I did & do recognize it's originality (well, not originality persay, but design merits). I know he's playing with art & I realize my posts are sounding very serious... believe me I'm not always this way. I commented that I liked & would wish to buy the first design (without the nipple... yes), I was disappointed to see the result of the comments on the second sub. I wish Dracoimagem luck in all seriousness... you're right he is free to do what he wishes, I just automatically compared it to my daily dealings in the workplace where that kind of re-sub by a marketing firm would be unacceptable. But you're right, I'll leave that at work for any future posts.

The company happens to make money off of the fun and runs a business, but thousands of designers failing to print repeatedly and not getting paid is the worst job ever... so one must assume that people design for this site for a different reason: be it fun, constructive critism, socializing, expression or whatever.
