About my design

by Ava Adore
Came up with this a while back, as seen on my flickr, but looked unattractive in plain colours...so went through a few colour variations, and kept th linework simple . I like this colour scheme as it reminds me of ice-cream :D

And nate72, there is one bone right at the top, but then it dissapears about a quarter of the way down the tail.

I have arabian show horses...the way it's drawn is correct in regard to the tail, however I think there's something wron g with the way the neck attaches to the skull. And if you want to get technical, the rider's positioning is wrong. Also, the horse doesn't seem to have a scapula.

Cool design, but why are the reins both on the same side of the horse's neck? Also, the skull looks like it actually has a nose, which is weird when looking at the rest of the bones.

Equestrian nit-picker here, I'd place the rider a smidge up on the horse's back.

yeah there are tail bones but they end much further up the tail, the nose looks pretty accurate. i really like it-looks like one of the four horseman of the apocalypse. $5

it's a good idea - but there are a few proportion problems and skeletal alignment issues - -

the tail length doesn't bug me, and i see the horse's scapula - but the head/neck needs work - the vertebrae should go into the base of the skull - and the size of the horse in proportion to the human seems too small - -

the rider should probably be seated farther back - and the position is awfully stiff - -

as someone looking over my shoulder said "apparently death likes to trot along on a miniature pony/zebra in english riding style" - -

my suggestions for a resub would be to use more dynamic/action poses (watch some horse racing) - or, if you want to go with the girly "not death" idea you need to kitsch it up waaay more
