This is by far the best political design I've ever seen on Threadless. If for some stupid reason it doesn't get printed into a Threadless shirt, you should definitely find another way to distribute it to the masses.

I really liked "we all look out at the same sun", that was a really cool design and well executed. I would buy that one for sure.

Droll but way to derivative of what the media spews out on a daily basis. Don’t need that on a shirt.

I love the design. Mainly because I thought it up several months ago but never got around to making it. I hate you for beating me to it :) haha 4$

This started out as a design concept im working on for a political statement poster for class but I thought the illustation was too perfect for a tee shirt not to submit it to threadless . I started with wanting to make a statement about Bush and the environment but instead ended up wanting to talk about him and the war and oil.

I'm interested what people have to say whether it's positive or negative. I'm not sure Kayla what you are referring to in terms of recycling what the media says... i've never heard anything about bush doing a keg stand with oil, I thought it was a pretty original concept. Than again I never watch tv ever except for Lost on wendsdays :D

Laurenmcnees - thanks! glad you like it so much... i've already gotten a ton of people I know saying if threadless doesn't print it to do it myself so it's definitly a possibilty, i'll let you know.

jwalsh,
no, you're right, i didn't mean it has "literally" been said or illustrated before. it's just that in general this has been a topic for so long now i am just ready for something new. but keep up the good work, you are really good at what you do.

It'd be better without the "gas". That, and Cheney looks too slim.

Sadly enough this would apply to anyone in the White House at this time or any time here after. Too bad OPEC pulls all the strings…but, why be technically correct?

Political humor is overdone. Let's be honest too; a joke about Bush and oil is about the most unoriginal thing I can think of.

"Political humor is overdone. Let's be honest too; a joke about Bush and oil is about the most unoriginal thing I can think of."

No, there are still those jokes about how dumb he is.

Bush's intelligence and ties to oil are really the easiest jokes to make. At this point, I think they're the jokes that the stupid and mediocre make when they have only a superficial understanding of the Administration and its policies.

This isn't meant to be disrespectful to Jess. I absolutely loved the Reach for the Stars shirt and can't wait for a reprint; it’s just that the joke makes me tired.

That said, this one would still probably sell real well. *shrug*

All the people that are tired of bush jokes or political statements deserve to pay $5 a gallon for gas. You deserve to have him for president.
