I think it's awesome, though just looking at the design it would be hard to get the word "evolution"..

I personally think that you should put evolution up there..

cute and subtle, but i'd like to see it reworked with more animals, maybe different colors.

I think the basic concept of the boat having evolved somehow is the problem. If you could express evolution clashing with the bible in a different way it might work better, like Noah's ark floating by a dinosaur treading water.

I love the style of your illustration. Personally, I would remove Noah, and add in a few more types of animals. People will still recognize it as Noah's ark.
