better without the gradient...solid is better...hard to focus on design when it keeps on animating

Here's the solid no-gradient version. This was the largest flickr would allow me to upload. The psd version I have is about 3X as large.

It looks ok in all black, but I wonder how it would look to fudge a gradient using fine scan lines or small dots.

I like it. Nice placement on the shirt. Colour goes well gives it an industrial feel.

pretty cool image. as much as i normally hate gradients, here it makes the stuff fade like it could into fog...but i guess you have to axe it anyway since they can't print them. oh well.

The bird was a pretty neat surprise, actually. When I took the picture, I was so focused on trying to make sure I didn't cut anything off unnecessarily that I didn't even notice it sitting there. Later, when I was editing the image, I saw this blob on top of the stands and when I zoomed in, I was pleasantly suprised with a little birdy. (:

I'm pretty sure threadless can't print the gradient but I can fix it so that it's a psuedo gradient with a small halftone or scanlines like someone suggested if that's what the people/threadless want. So far it seems to be 50/50.

I really liked this design. I wish you'd change it and resub. Not change completely, but enough to warrant a resub. It's a damn shame it didn't get higher votes. Please continue to design stuff!

Oh, and the gradient effect can be altered to a halftone type thing or eliminated altogether.
