Ok, this is for all those people that offer to make my tea - and always get it wrong - look at the shirt - look at the tea - it's not rocket science.

I'm English too... Looks like I have to do 2 versions.. one with color and one with colour...

I'm American but I think "colour" looks so much better than "color." I also like "grey" over "gray."

I now have a better idea...

We keep the slogan as it is for the English Patrons - as Tea is of course our drink of choice - I'll do a coffee version for the US Patrons (as I'm sure most of you guys drink coffee than tea) - with colour spelt as color... nice

Yes, I like "favour" too! Too bad I'm not a fan of tea OR coffee...what's the Pantone color for water? My favorite beverage. :)

Morgan_UK on Oct 26 '06
I think water is the same Pantone as 'Air' :-P

"maybe fix the leading of "colour" to make it match "pantone"" - leading is between the lines, kerning is between the characters

I think the text could be big and right across the chest. I like it a lot.

yeah I thought about a larger version - but I kinda liked the Pantone swatch being as close to lifesize :-P I'll see what more (if any) feedback I get about this! Cheers for your comment.

I'm Canadian...but I drink tea.
this is good. in fact, I think the design should be bigger so even the myopic can appreciate its goodness.

Part of me really wants to believe that you didn't already know about this. But, the intelligent part of me knows that Onkar Singh Kular is very dissapointed in you.

Tsk... well I'm pleased to say this idea came from the the fact that I had a pantone swatch stuck to the wall in my office for about 12 years - so it's safe to say I think I came up with the idea first... I don't need to steal other people's ideas... and I can't say for sure either anything anyone does here doesn't exist in some form somewhere unbeknownst to the submitted in one form or another - the world's a big place mate - and it is conceivable that 2 ideas of the same thing can be generated on either sides of the world - that's just life
Morgan_UK
Morgan_UK on Oct 29 '06
so just in case anyone is still unclear about the above (I had a 3 year old running around as I wrote the reply)

I had no idea that the Pantone idea existed in another form - way it goes... had the idea on the wall for the past 12 years...
velvetsamurai
velvetsamurai on Oct 29 '06
... even if he got the idea from that artist i dont seen any tshirt designs in your set of links. so he didnt steal the design for sure, and i would belive that he probably didnt steal the idea either.
but either way, its about the design, he didnt copy anything so i dont think you have any room to go dishing out zeros and accusing people.
5, its great. as for the discrepencies on colour and tea or coffee, i live in the states, and prefer colour and tea... so id say leave it as is.

would it not be good on the reverse so when the intern approaches you at your desk they can check the colour of their work before you turn round and destroy them!!
