Turns out drawing origami is REALLY hard...

Guys, I think the crane/swan thing is the point lol. I'm not sure about the elipse. Maybe another, just to make that ripple impression a bit clearer?

I totally agree about the swan crane thing. I do. But Google cranes on images, and you se the truth... Cranes are just ugly as hell
I take it back, you're right, cranes are not ugly, but the fact stands that they do look different than paper cranes
this is fantastic just the way it is. i don't think the crane/swan discrepancy is a big deal at all. i love the color in the beak. 5$

The concept is awesome. I think the reflection could be a little more clear... as in, easier to understand that it's a reflection.

The line on the bottom right corner of the neck shouldnt be there. It should be on the base of the body going up to the neck like you did on the left side.

Aaron! nice! i like it, but to some extent i agree--it should be a crane in the water....but at the same time, i think it might change the concept, you know?

Oragami is pretty easy to do, in comparison to drawing oragami. Very nice idea though, I'd like to see it in greyscale if possible.

Nice work and idea...Whatever it's a crane or a swan or a mongrel !

I love this, but the 2-d swan looks weird with the 3-d crane, and I also agree that is should be a crane, not a swan.
personally i think it should be wait nevermind that gave me a great idea haha but yea swan swan crane crane
I think that if I do decide to make them the same animal, it wil be too swans; the problem is papre cranes and real cranes look very different form eachother
