I really enjoy this submission, however, something about the text turns me off. I prefer it in the up and down layout in the front top right, or front bottom left. Keep up the great work!

I also don't like the text...i also like the blue better and the top left or maybe even a bottom would be cool

Thanks for the comments, guys--From what I'm hearing, maybe text isn't the way to go--as for placement, I'm getting way more positive reactions to up and down layout.

That's so good! I wish I could draw like you. I agree with the person who said they would like it better without the text, or maybe do something else with the text more subtle. But the drawing is SUPER good and I'm envious! I like the purple color better, btw. -Mandee

hey Jessica, it's semar...your design is awesome, it reminds me of your monotype final piece. i would have to agree with some of the others, i'm not a big fan of the text...maybe if it was a little more subtle and a favor the vertical layout on the shirt. take it easy.

Jessica! Wow, I really love it. And it DOES remind me of your monotype! I can't decide between vertical or horizontal...but I prefer the blue. I love how you made sure to get Stephan's pouty lip in your drawing...How adorable!! :-)

Lovely faces, but I think the text needs a change so it's in harmony with the drawing style. You could select something that looks more like handwriting. (I think your doodled stars and sketchy hair would work well with this sort of alteration).
