I can't tell you why I like this, but I do. Especially his sketchy face. The only thing I'm unsure about is the blue semi circle. What's that shape?

lulubella- i dont know if you watched the movie or not. I was trying to represent the female character stepanee with out drawing a woman.

there's a scene where he's reaching for her. Thats what i was trying to depict without drawing a guy reaching for the girl.

that was the most beautifull part of the movie by the way.

I don't think your concept is coming across the way you describe it... it looks like he has a thought that's taking him over but he continues to take it further, I'd say. works for me. I think the abstract half could use some more working over, but otherwise I really like it.

i was just explaining the blue shape.

the whole thing is about his dream escaping his mind. and mixing with reality.

i wanted the dream to be happy and evil.
because dreams give you happiness, but they are also very cruel.

his dreams fuck with him.

thats what its all about.

I like the design a lot but I think it would be stronger without all the details of the face. lip, nose and eye would be enough

Great design. I don't know why, but i think i'd like this a whole lot more if it was on the side or something. Just not smack in the middle. But that drawing is amazing.

i just needed the face to standout from the dream, to make it obvoius that they were from 2 diffrent worlds.

i tried other excecutions but they didnt make my pants swell with pride.

this is the 1st illustration i've done in tallahassee.
all my illustrations after this, have been influenced by homesickenss, charles scottsmith, granddaddy, weed, dishwashing and living in a southern town.
