I still didn't get it without reading the explanation. If I don't get it, then who's to say that anyone reading my shirt will get it? Cute idea, but could still use better execution.

You shouldnt need to explain. If you do then theres something wrong with the design. But if it helps im pretty sure i would have got it anyway!

I love the traffic sign idea, but as a girl I could never wear this shirt because the arrows would just point right at my boobs. I'm not sure it would help with the traffic.
[I love it more the way you have it, with both arrows parting the way, but maybe it would function better if it was one huge traffic arrow with maybe some construction sign lights on it. I don't know how they look in London but here sometimes there are big arrows with smaller arrows made of lights moving inside them to point the direction. You could have >>>>> but some / all but one turned off, and one lit (with maybe shiny gold paint).] |

Thanks for your comments all. Looks like I missed the mark again by trying to keep it simple, never mind. And yep, it does look like a bobbies diversion, being a boy, I did not think of that when I was putting it together. Bedtime for this design I think.

have you ever noticed that when you are walking in the hall yomeone in front of you is walking so incredibley slow, and then when you turn to go around them they trun with you? Thank god for people who understand me :D. 5.

Looks like the literalists and overstaters are killing another good design, but I'd buy it. Only, I would like to have more options for fabric colors - but keeping with colors used in directional signage...

I think the idea is very creative, and when you get it printed I would be interested in buying it.

Ha! But those of us in the U.S. will not understand, b/c our signs are bright orange and say "Detour".

At least you find it funny mate. I thought your signs said diversion, never mind, and I thought I had cracked it with the universal yellow. I like boukisan Idea of other sign colours. Deep green, cyan blue, even a deep brown, I have to stop being so literal.
I really like this Idea and I want to keep it simple, but I think a third submission is taking the piss a bit and will probably annoy the scorers. |

i like the idea.. but it seems too simple to be printed.. i mean, it would be a shame for it to replace one potential amazingly artistic designs chance to be printed..

creativity comes in forms other than artistic design. in the end i think thats what most people here want, anything but the crap found in stores.
