About my design

by galavant
Until there is nothing left of us,

I will still long for you.

Inspired by Jeffery McDaniel's Poem "The Archipelago of Kisses".

Please check out the other colour option (on dakota slate) from my weblink.

Thank you.

like the pic, no the writing with the tee tho

Yeah i forgot to clarify. The tee does not have the text. The text is just for reference.

Thanks for the reminder.

It's strangely sweet, and goes with the theme in a unique way.. I like it, but are those words inspired by the poem, or directly from the poem? Because if they're just similar, nice (hey, we all steal inspiration from somewhere), but if they're directly copied, I say not a good idea...

galavant on Oct 08 '06
They are directly from the poem, the last line of a nice poem.

the design is super-super beautiful!

and the text could be nice in the back maybe.

since the words are directly from the poem, it would be important to put the signature. I don't agree with BCloudy about steeling inspiration... I believe if you find in someone else's words what you wanna say, it's better to quote it and give the credit, rather than changing a bit to make it yours!

This is beautiful. I met Jeffrey McDaniel at a poetry reading on a Greek island. He read this and I fell in love with it. What a pleasant surprise to find its shirt-equivalent on Threadless. Wonderful work. Possibly the greatest line of poetry of all time. :)

The poetry reminds of that of Pablo Neruda.

I like it!

As for the "gruesome" thing, to each his/her own, eh?
