I think it'd be just fine without the text.

This would be an amazing shirt without the text.

I love the style of art and the colors, but that pseudo-japanese text ruins it for me. As Chris mentioned in his review, it's also unclear as to what message you're trying to get across. What connection is there between the SNES controller and the people? Nail down a clear concept and loose the text, then it would be a sweet design.

CheesecakeBree: Confrontation between the japon traditionel and the new japon. The joypad is the future. The characters are distrustful.
I hope it's a bit more clear for you. I would like to talk more about it but my english sucks (need to use a translator to talk with you guys :)

Maybe it's because I'm more well versed in Japanese culture than the rest of you guys, but I got the meaning of the shirt right away; the traditional drawing of people vs the more modern video game controler (although I would've ued a wii controler or something since the snes controler is.. outdated and doesn't work with the 'new' vs 'old' theme since it's not really NEW anymore)

I don't like the hiragana / kanji as romaji. No text, though, and it's a 5$ for me, no question.

Listen to all the comments, I will DEFINATELY BUY if the text wasn't in Roman Japanese... either get an accurate translation or loose the text completely. Brilliant concept.

Actually the snes controller is better than the NES controller because the japanese Famicon controller is different looking than the american NES controller, but the SNES is the same.
