if Cinderella had been late .....

I only got the Cinderella reference once I read the comment below the picture... so maybe something could be added to the design to make it a little more clear? I was definitely thinking of a pumpkin farm that had closed just around halloween and was taunting people about it.

Maybe a couple white mice or a glass slipper or something Cinderella/fairytale-ish would help poor bumbling folks like me?

Oh, I thought the pumpkin was taunting because it was too late to carve it, stupid taunting pumpkins. They will not get me this year!

I, too, was upset by the taunting pumpkin. Maybe a gnarled hand/foot coming out of the pumpkin with a shattered glass slipper (or whatever the hell it startes as before it got bippity-boppity-booed) laying tossed-like aside the pumpkin,

Maybe if you drew Cinderella crying or something, it would come across.
