Oh, it's a stick! That was the only thing that bothered me. If keeping the stick, have it angle so that he's drawing on the ground with it or something (not that it works well on sidewalks last I tried, but, still), it's confusing otherwise. But I really adore the concept and emotion in the execution, it's so sweet and sad and beautiful. I have no trouble at all with the simiplicity in the style, it's sweet and childlike and suits.

I love that the boy has a stcik. Even grown men will find themselves a stick as soon as possible and refuse to give it up if you take them out of the city.
