Well, just because it's not original doesn't mean it's not good. Take a look at something like Saint's Row. =P

This is executed better, and I know that people lift other people's ideas all the time, but I think I would feel better if quotient specifically said he was cool with it. What if quotient had wanted time to do a rework based upon people's comments?

yea, maybe he wanted to rework the designs but hey, you own the art, not the idea. besides, just because i did something inspired by his idea doesnt mean he cant rework the design, right?

if someone took my idea, like wipeout 1982 and did their version i wouldnt be pissed unless he/she totally copied it with only minor adjustments. i didnt steal one pixel from quotient.

maybe, but placement and size is kinda irrelevant, unless its an integral part of the design, dont you think?

i agree that the design looks big but i just wanted to make things clear and since the design fits anywhere in any (almost ) size on the tee, i didnt think it mattered

yeah, the bombs are optional. when i tried to imagine the design on a tee, the bombs looked totally cool though.

classiccoke, sure we all are influenced by the things we see, but there is such a thing as originality. this isnt your idea.

oh cmon everyone who has studied art knows that originality is impossible. i havent seen one original design on threadless, most are influenced by prints. a personal interpretation of an idea is about as unique as things will ever get.

Not understanding all of the negative feedback... the concept isn't incredibly original to begin with, so any criticism of your originality is pointless. Your design, however, is awesome.

Ask most Vietnam vets if they wanted to be there and they would say no. Don't assume that because they went that they wanted to go.

Anyway, I think it's a stylin' tee, but I think it's making light of something that wasn't funny at all. If you're going for a 'repeating history' thing, I think you've missed it, though you're about 60% of the way there. I give a 3 for style, but not for content.

Illustration and Colour scheme is great.
