It annoys me when people feel the need to tell other people what they are allowed to enjoy. I don't think the text on the steaks is necessary. Anybody who would understand it will get it automatically. |

'All Your Base' will crack me up 4-ever. And I don't much enjoy shirts that IMPLY that the viewer should automatically 'get' the pun involved. Sometimes, you need to spell it out and not presume too much. At least, in my experience. I've never done a pun / parody shirt before, and I wanted to have some madcore fun. And I did. So I rock. |

I find this shirt a bit too much of a weak knock off of 'Piece of Meat', too which this illustration is quite similar.

If someone can't figure this out then they likely missed out on the whole snakes on a plane hoopla and would likely be far from amused when it is explained (ie your grandma, great aunt, or your 72 year old dinosaur of a professor. |

ResonantFish on Sep 01 '06 I own 'Piece of Meat' & love it, and I'd also love to own the meaty-deer shirt. Something with an image of meat on it is far, far from being defined as a 'knockoff', as there's nothing similar about the images at all besides the presence of two very differently stylized images of meat. I love meat. It existed before t-shirts, you know. I think it only predated it by 3 or 4 months, though. It's a crazy story. Remind me to tell you sometime.

Easy now... no need to get sarcastic and uptight over some constructive criticism. I was simply stating my opinion of your shirt. To me, your primarily red steaks on a red shirt with white as contrast is similar to Piece of Meat, but with an airplane put behind them. I am curious though as to what cut of steak you have drawn.

they did a bit on conan obrien with sharks on a tractor, tarantulas on a hydrofoil and some others. i'm sure we'll be seeing lots of parodies
