this is a great concept, but i think the lettering and lightning bolts could use a bit of polishing. i don't think they really match the two guys. i really like this concept though!

i think it would be a much more exciting design without the "USA vs. CANADA" text... people can figure it out by themselves, i think.
but i like it, and it proves that NJ is just the thumb of america, not the ass.

Perhaps the "vs" should be a bit bigger (the bolts and 'bots could be further apart to prevent overlapping, or stay put for the purpose of overlapping)? Otherwise, pure t-shirt gold.

I love it!! I too thought it was going to be a map and was a bit let down at first, but then I realized it was 43 times better than a map because it was a map cut into pieces and rearranged!!!

By far the most creative and original idea I've seen in some time.

The only thing I would personally like changed, is the t-shirt color, but I'm not sure to what. I'm just not a black t-shirt fan. But it's still awesome!!!

OK...here's my take on this shirt. First off I give you wild props for a great concept..and im glad you didn't use Michigan as the hand.....that would have been too easy.!! I hope this becomes a series of shirts..ha! Now....my criticism.....Choose a better color than black for the shirt. The lighting bolts and lettering look way out dated. Like a 70's iron-on tee and im not sure if you really need the text. Im one who believes that other people don't need to be spoon feed shirt meanings...if they get it great if they dont too bad. I'd like to see the the "warriors" with some other kind of weapon....what that could be...good question.
America is known for handguns and Canadan for...hmm...I dont know....poutine? Or go old school with samauri swords and nunchucks.....or even some other power but not the bolts....unless you really rework the bolts so the looks better.

Michigan has to be the hand. I think it's the law. Everyone Ive EVER met from michigan holds up their hand and points to where "on the hand" they live. It's idiotic...but hey, they live in Michigan.

i didnt make michigan a hand because there is that weird shaped peninsula attached to the top of michigan that looked awkward on the arm, and if i omitted that , i would probably get angry letters from michigonians (how do u call people who live there?) who happen to live on that weird shaped peninsula.

I wouldn't like the US to fight Canada, as I think it's a very nice country. But it is a neat concept and well-executed. It looks like you spent tons of time on it.

Someone likes Broken Social Scene, or at least thinks enough like them that they brought their song title to life without knowing so! I just wish the USA vs Canada lettering was less sketchy and matched with the meticulousness of the rest of the design. The USA should have a handgun and Canada either a hockey or curling stick!

I guess it is obvious that i spent most of the time piecing the battle bots together, and the text just sort of became an after thought. But i just felt like there had to be some message.

Lastly , just not crazy about weaponizing the bots, i think its sad that USA should get a gun and Canada would get something lame like maple syrup or a hockey stick, or whatever stereotypes that are floating around.

I like it, but given that most map are oriented so North is the top shouldn't Canada be higher than the US? It confused me when I first looked at it, but i like the idea.

I think that this shirt, sans text, is a $5 buy for me. Personally, I think that the lightning can stay; I'd be mildly disappointed if they were to have stereotype weapons (hockey sticks, etc...) because I think that that would split my attention between a really great concept (using states/provinces as components of fighters) and the stereotypes of the countries themselves. The only stereotype-free thing that I can thinking them "fighting" over is the Great Lakes. But that
s a prize, not a weapon.

It's a great, original design. I think it would be way better with no text. Maybe you could lose the lightning bolts as well. As for Canada being on top, I don't think it's that important.

yo! great idea. if its not too much hassle, make em size proportionate. i reckon it isn't because wouldn't canada be far bigger? .... it seems others think similarly. plus i'd like bigger lightning, a bigger VS, but no other text. the states/territories will speak for themselves. i'm not really into the black t-shirt either. navy or charcoal maybe?
