I hate seeing this comment "I don't get it" design isn't always something you have to get, maybe its just appealing to the eye that being said. This is a great idea it would be better if the silhouette were a tad different.

don't add swirls!! the design itself is perfect as is. i think it should be a tad smaller and placed either on the top right or bottom right.

Robsoul on Aug 29 '06 nice drawing style. that's the problem with threadless voters for the most part, they have no idea, they want something gimmicky, something "to get"... but that's what happens when you have 15 yr olds with internet access and absolutely no concept of art.
keep submitting though, it's good to see quality stuff like this. But don't bother trying to explain your work, it'll just become a frustrating affair. |

I love the left illustration. If you take off the right silhouette, I would buy.

Sweet illustration. I would consider dropping the silhouette down more to the bottom right hand side of the T, offset it a bit more, play with the layout. As it is now, on a T, theres something that looks a bit off. Again, very sweet illustration.

unless it's an abstract I wouldn't be offended by "i don't get it'. Some things, especially when they deal with the figure seem like they should have a deeper meaning.
It's a really pretty drawing, but the silhouette I think doesn't add anything to it (while they're next to each other). Personally, I think it's on the verge of being really poignant--'excuse me while I am sihouetted by the void..' or something really heavy. This could be included possibly with the sihouette on the back. |

ok.. I like it... but the confusing thing is that the silhouette doesn't really go with the drawing... but the whole thing won't look complete without the silhouette.. if you get what I'm saying...

if it were me i'd have the woman overlapping the silhouette a bit, or maybe make the whole thing a bit smaller. i love it, though.

to be fair, my first thought was 'i don't get it' - not because of the design, but because of the title; my mind's groping for some kind of Castiglione connection in the picture and not getting it...
