I would say without the shadow because it wasn't done as well. Plus, why would he have a knife if the toothpick killed the olive creature? It makes the image a lot more subtle as well-- which works better since it is a spin on the classic martini.

Maybe if the sahdow didn't look like a killer-ghost-whatever. Just a regular shadow would be way better.

I love the idea of the shadow and it's execution, but the glass in this design looks better without it. Maybe incorporate that shadow into a different design?

hahahah i know this is way past the fact, but this reminds me of this terrible artist who does pictures of dancing olives in martini's and olives driving cars. anyway you probably have no idea what it is i'm talking about but this definitely satisfied my hatred for said artist... 5$!
