im really dissapointed with this design.i leave things half done. i could fix it but.. that would involve so much more than just the characters.

im confused of why you used chinese if your not certain of what it says. i mean i get why, but you should make sure of that.
i like the branch/flower thing, but i think as far as design it looks weird in that placement, it throws it off balance and doesnt really fit the rest of the design. if you somehow found a way to integrate it better to the rest of the design it might work.

actually, my idea was to have the circle in center and let the branch stretch around the side

but i dont know if threadless does that. and if i act as if i am 100% sure about the chinese, i would just look more the idiot if im wrong lol. gotta be careful on the internet.

yeah the chinese is all off..thats ok i doubt anyone will care. it will just make any chinese person who sees someone wearing it thing "psh ignorant foriegner"

i think it might flow better if the branch came out behind the characters on the other side of the circle. is that what you meant by "around the side"?

My Chinese is extremely limited, I'll be the first to admit, but the character on the lantern is not 'fire' (huo), it is 'last name' (xing). I have no idea about the rest.

I like the branch and lanterns, but probably ditch the incorrect Chinese.

I like your illustration, but suggested you need to change just about all the chinese characters,,ahah cos it didnt mean anything, few keywords yes, but the whole sentence didnt mean "The secret of East Asian art".. count from the top, the 4,5,6 chinese characters mean "Yellow type people" in english - didnt mean "ASIAN"as what you want , did you did your translation through computer program! >>> haha!

I think it's a good design, but the chinese should be corrected, I mean haven't you laughed at foreigners with t-shirts with bad english on? I know I find it amusing, and this is a good design, it should be corrected.

nice try! i really like the branch of cherry blossoms to the side :) and the chinese type is sweet. too bad about the actual words though :(
