Well, she's certainly a more prolific and widely-known illustrator than you, and in spite of the fact that you clearly didn't trace the other design, certainly you see the striking similarity in menstrual fluid gushing out of smiling white female.

The designs are far too differing in APPEARANCE for me to have just traced it. But the designs are so thematically similar! Yeah, look, two smiling, light-skinned girls with raging periods! Heck, you're right! They're almost EXACTLY THE SAME!
Well, except for the ghosts, nipple rings, and smiling blood-animals, which I nefariously removed to cover my tracks. Then compensated by clothing the girl, giving her glasses and shoes, and drawing her in a completely different pose and style! Then, of course, I completely changed the blood from a series of characters to more of a background design to draw attention away from my deceit. And THEN, as my cunning scheme reached a chilling crescendo - I added a pad as the central element in the design, SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT IN THE DESIGN I STOLE FROM! To the untrained eye, these are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GIRLS! But I couldn't put one past you, man. Here I thought nobody would find me out! Here I thought I could get away with stealing an illustration, completely changing it except for the basic idea (that girls have periods!) and the almost totally altered design as a submission on Threadless! But NO, I didn't manage to cover my tracks enough! Blast it all! CURSE YOU UNDERSTRUCT! YOU'RE TOO SMART FOR ME! |
