That is why I wanted it to go on the back of the shirt... should it just be in the middle of the chest area?

Placing it anywhere but the front center seems like a cheap grab for attention. Front center should be one of the restrictions the designers have to work within. Awesome leprechaun.

I disagree with everything Lucifer said. With the possible exception of "awesome leprechaun" The leprechaun's fine. Placement is one of the most interesting things about any shirt, not just cheap attention getting. I agree that on the front this would appear even more phallic, But at least you don't have say, a leprechaun on each side of the pot or anything.
Something about that rainbow bothers me though, I'm not sure if it's the uncurvy-ness of it, or the ordered pattern of colours, or just the fact that there's an even number of stripes. but something about it irks me.
The pot is cute, and the leprechaun oddly maniacal, maybe you don't need the rainbow at all.
