Hookahs were originally used for smoking things other than tabacco, specifically hashish and opium.
Plenty of people use water pipes to smoke weed.

The design looks more like something you'd see in a head shop than something you'd buy at Threadless.

Actually, Exsane is right, it would ruin a Tabacco Hookah. Hookahs were originally used for smoking tobacco in India and Morrocco, areas like that, but shortly after, they began usage as a method to get high, but the design of a modern hookah for hash or pot is a little different to prevent buring the weed constantly and therefore waste your pricey weed. But Cherry pop is right to say that plenty of peeps used water pipes for weed...ever heard of bong? Usually in Amsterdam though, you just buy a small amount of weed, andd you can roll a spliff, or buy a small joint. There are places in amsterdam where you can smoke hash or weed from a hookah, but it is not a good idea. It would be like tossing a lb of pot on a fire and standing next to it to get high, wasteful.Tisk tisk.

Replace the hookah with a simplistic, traditional bong. It's more appropriate.

the hose makes the d. and i disagree with all of this "don't smoke weed in a hookah" business. being an owner of a hookah, and speaking from personal experience, its not a problem at all. all you have to do is put some tinfoil over your ganja so the smoke doesn't escape. and please lets not confuse waterpipes with hookahs. while a hookah is a waterpipe, so are bongs, bubblers, etc. which were specifically designed for grass.

oh and by the way, i dont support advertising drug use. it's a descision to be made on your own, and it botheres me when people try to project that image.

I would probably buy this shirt if i saw it while actually visiting amsterdam, its a good idea, and well executed....try to sell the design to the dutch, and ill pick it up next time im there.
